The Department of Computer Science was opened in2018-19 along with the Department of Science and since then only General coursehas been taught. Detailsof infrastructural facilities:
Ø Department has Combine with smart classroom and Computer Lab.During Corona period online classes were going on in Zoom platform, Googlemeet, and WebEx etc. Online study materials are made by the teachers.
Ø A computer lab with the facilities of 26 computers is establishedfor a new course BSC. Computer science started in the session 2018-19.
Ø The College has a library with its reading area. Now 34000 Booksare available in the library. The library is enriched with N-List facility forall students and faculty members (proposal waiting for sanction of competentauthority) Library: The Department does not have any library as such. But thecomplementary copies provided by different publishers are preserved for use ofthe students in the library.
Ø According to the classrooms for all the programmers functional inthe institution we are having in sufficient infrastructure the college hasWi-Fi Connectivity Facility with Computer Lab, Wi-Campus, Library all thecollege campus. Computer Lab and Library are connected with LAN systemavailable for 24 x 7 hours, class rooms, Smart Class room, laboratories, CT,library, common room, etc.
Ø The department of computer science has sufficient number computerfor the students and it future requires improvement. They also availablelibrary reading room facilities. The whole building of the institution is underthe Online CCTV surveillance by which can super vision and access not only fromthe college but away from the college also. There is required arrangement offire extinguisher for the safety of the institution.
Ø Teaching methods adopted to improve student learning: Technologyaided lectures, demonstration, and group discussions end educational tours.Participation in Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) and Extensionactivities Students are encouraged to participate ISR through NSS units of theCollege.
